Common questions about CCTV and access control
How much does CCTV installation cost?
It depends on how many cameras you need, the cable routes and how much footage you want to keep. Rather than guess, we survey the property for free and then send an itemised written quote listing every camera, recorder and accessory, so you can see exactly what you're paying for.
Is the site survey really free?
Yes. The survey is free and there's no obligation to go ahead. We look at the areas you want to protect, check camera positions, entry points and cable routes, and talk you through the options.
Can I watch my CCTV on my phone?
Yes. The systems we install can be viewed live and played back through a phone app, wherever you are. We set the app up on your phone at handover and show you how to find and save footage.
Does my business CCTV need to comply with GDPR?
Yes. If your cameras record people, UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 apply. You need a clear reason for recording, signs telling people CCTV is in use and a policy for how long footage is kept. We position cameras to cover your premises, supply commercial CCTV signage and give you guidance on the rest.
Can you repair or service a system another company installed?
Yes. We maintain, repair and upgrade existing CCTV, door entry, access control and gate systems, including ones fitted by other installers. We'll check what you have, fix what can be fixed and tell you honestly if an upgrade makes more sense.
